to share all the great things that are happening this year
for that organization (perhaps a trip to Uganda!) And things
are under way for my new CD. I can't wait to share that with

1.19.06 Greetings to a new year!
Thank you to everyone who came to my Christmas concert last
month. It was a special and blessed evening. I shared the
night with friends and gifted musicians, Tom Conlon, Christian
Frederickson, Lee Kizer, Brent Dickinson and Annie Quick.
A huge thank you to them for donating their time and talents!
And, we raised the exact amount needed to support a child
from Zambia through Children International for a year. We,
collectively, now have little Agness to be thankful for this
year. I'll try and post a photo and info about her and the
program here soon. Plans are slowly shaping for the new record
this year. Stay tuned for a fundraising plan and exciting
ideas about the project. You all will be a major part of this
project and I couldn't be more excited. Cheers!
10.15.05 Happy fall dear friends!
So far Sarah's year has been full of change, blessings and
more music than ever before. You may be wondering when her
next CD will be coming out. The arrangement she had with a
new record company seems to have dissappeared. But this is
not the end! Sarah will soon be announcing details for her
next recording project and will be asking for your help! If
you would like to receive details about this exciting next
chapter please write Sarah at lentzsarah@yahoo.com.
And, Christmas is wonderfully around the corner again! Check
the Plan page soon for Christmas concerts and happenings.
1.15.05 Happy New Year everyone. The holidays were busy and
fun with Sarah being able to play a lot of Christmas shows.
The best of which was the CD release show in Brooklyn. Sarah
shared the night with Jo
Davidsonand Annie
Quickand Lee Kizer.
She highly recommends their music to you! Jo has a beautiful
Christmas CD and a new CD of originals. And old friend Annie
and Lee are always up to something good. Sarah also got to
play for a congregation of 8,000 during the Christmas Eve
service at Flatirons Community Church in Boulder, CO. That
was amazing! Best to all of you in your new year.
9.15.04 Sarah just got word that her songs "Too Late"
and "All Right" received Honorable Mention in the
Billboard World Song Contest. She got nice little certificates
and won some guitar strings. But can she string them to her
piano? Not sure...
8.15.04 Sarah just started work on her first Christmas album.
This is a life-long dream for Sarah to record her favorite
carols and work with dear friend Lee Kizer from the band Spinoza
and singer-songwriter Annie Quick. Be on the look out for
new CDs and performances in December.
1.05.04 Happy New Year! Sarah
just returned from Little Rock, AK where she did a taping
for "Spotlight on Performing Songwriters" a new
television show. Look for it airing in the midwest states
this spring!
11.17.03 Sarah's song "All Right" has been placed
on Paste's Music Sampler
III. Her song is sitting along side 20 other up and coming
artists that sell their music on Paste's site. You can get
the sampler with the purchase of any CD at a reduced price.
9.10.03 Sarah just finished another
round of college shows in the midwest! This tour also included
an opening slot for Jesse Cook at Schuba's in Chicago. Sarah
also played her first show at Uncommon Ground Coffeehouse
in Chicago, a great place for indie music and food.
5.05.03
Sarah's song "Erase Him" was heard on Pastemusic.com
by the guys who run Songandfilm.com
and they have now featured it on their site! This is a website
for music supervisors looking for songs for theirmovies and
TV shows. Who knows, maybe you'll hear Sarah singing in the
background of a breakup scene on WB...
Also, Index magazine liked Sarah's CD so much that they offered
her a free ad in their next issue! Check the stands for their
newest issue and look for Sarah's cool half page ad designed
by Christian Acker of Adnauseum.com
.

Just
back from my college shows in the Mid-West! 2000 miles in
5 days... and I missed the entire East Coast Blizzard! My
little car is happy about that. I got to hear myself on the
radio for the first time too. What a moment for me. Thank
you WQUB in Quincy! I'm pretty much finished on the CMJ 200.
I've charted for 10 weeks! I was #117 the week before last
and #188 this week. But charted up to #83 a few weeks ago!
Thank you SO MUCH to Tinderbox Music for helping me and all
the wonderful stations the played my CD. THANK YOU!"
02.01.03
Sarah was recently accepted to the very cool online distribution
site Paste
Music. It's an invitation-only site with amazing artists
on it like Aimee Mann, Cowboy Junkies, Dar Williams, Patty
Griffin (Sarah's all-time fave artist!) and many other cool
non-icky radio pop artists that are highly recommended. Some
of Sarah's friends are on the site too like Annie Quick, and
Spinoza. This is the main place now to buy Sarah's CD "Everything's
All Right" online. Go there and check it out! They also
put out a great magazine that you can pick up at most major
bookstores.
.

Good news! Sarah is currently charting on the CMJ Top 200
Chart! She was the #3 most added new artist and the #2 most
added AAA in December and is currently charting amazingly
well considering she's an independent. She's charting with
the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Audio Slave, Bjork and Tori
Amos! So cool. Thank you to all the college stations out there
supporting Sarah's music.
